The neck itself is topped by a 20-fret round-laminated Rosewood fingerboard with clay-coloured dot inlays.  This combination of woods helps to produce a lightweight instrument that is both easy to play and full to the brim of amazing, natural tones.The body of the Fender American Vintage ’63 Precision Bass guitar is fitted with a newly designed American Vintage ’63 Precision Bass split single-coil pickup that has been custom voiced to accurately replicate the sounds of that era.
